Hi, I’m Kate Black
I help people come back to work, body, and inner life that move together — instead of pulling at each other. Whether that means realigning your career, learning to live in honest conversation with your body, or both at once, I work with people who hold an inner knowing that something has to shift.
My path here hasn't been a straight line. A degree in Exercise Science. Roles across health and fitness, pharmaceutical sales, real estate, career coaching, and recruiting. Time inside the corporate world and outside it. What I've watched the whole way through is the same pattern: capable people, quietly depleted, doing work that's costing them themselves.
I've watched it. I've lived it. And I've seen what happens to a nervous system that's been holding too much for too long. That's what led me to expand my work beyond career coaching alone — into the body, the breath, the practices that actually hold a person through real change.
Yoga, Chinese herbal medicine, Reiki, tarot, therapy, meditation, mindfulness — these aren't just things I teach. They're practices I've lived with. They've held me through periods of stress, helped me notice what was true before I had words for it, and slowly built the kind of self-knowing that only the body teaches.
My work today is where all of it comes together. Career coaching that listens to the body. Wellness practices that don't pretend you don't have a career — or a life — to navigate. Nervous system work, movement, and Chinese herbal medicine, threaded through both — because change has to reach the body's organs and inner systems to actually hold.

My Approach
Resume polish, networking strategy, a good herbal formula — those are part of what I offer. But the deeper work is in looking at the whole shape of your life: your energy, your patterns, the rhythms your body is asking for. Career and wellbeing aren't separate projects. They live in the same body, drawn from the same well. You can't quietly heal one while ignoring the other. This is the work of coming home to both.
what integration looks like
The work spans the whole picture of a life. On the surface, that means career clarity, strategic transitions, and aligned decision-making — the visible shape of what you're moving toward. Underneath, it means nervous system regulation and the kind of stress resilience that actually holds. Day to day, it means movement, mindfulness, and routines that support your energy instead of drain it. And in the quieter layers, it means Reiki, herbal support, reflective practices, and the integrative tools that help the work go deeper than schedule alone.
